Héra Partecipazioni One at the NPL&UTP 2025 Congress: collaboration and innovation for a more sustainable ecosystem

On October 29, 2025, we participated as a sponsor in the NPL&UTP 2025 Congress, promoted by Alma Iura, one of the leading events for the non-performing loan sector in Italy.

This year's edition saw a large turnout of professionals, institutions, and market operators, confirming the vitality and maturity achieved by the sector. The central theme of the Congress was cooperation between industry players, a crucial aspect at a time when the shared goal is to make the non-performing loan ecosystem more stable, resilient, and sustainable in the long term.

During the panels, there were a series of presentations and reflections on possible new synergies between banks, servicers, and investors, with a particular focus on:

• early warning tools and outsourcing of labor-intensive activities;
• asset-light models and new forms of origination;
• long-term strategic partnerships.

The main themes driving the evolution of the sector were also explored in depth:

• market performance and future prospects;
• the role of non-performing loans as an asset class in private debt;
• the transformation of servicers into true asset managers;
• the evolution of state guarantees in the post-COVID context;
• the impact of emerging technologies on operating models.

Particularly significant was the reference to the role that the servicing industry has played over the last decade as a driver of the recovery of the Italian banking system, helping to create the conditions for a new phase of growth and consolidation. A high-level discussion for sharing experiences and perspectives that continue to drive the evolution of our sector.
